The Lost Dog Street Band is an Americana band based in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. It was formed in 2010 by Benjamin Tod and Ashley Mae, a husband and wife team. The band's music blends genres like bluegrass, country, folk, and new Americana and often features teardrop pedal steel guitar, fingerpicked passages, and emotive harmony vocals. Their themes include tragic deaths, addiction, fated love, and rising demons.
