The Wrecks
The Wrecks are an LA-based band known for their D.I.Y. ethos and infectious alternative pop-rock sound. Their journey began when Nick Anderson, fresh from a small town in New York, moved to LA with a few songs and recorded them in a borrowed studio. Despite an unexpected near-disaster, the band managed to salvage their work, marking the beginning of their journey as both musicians and producers.
Their independent approach quickly paid off, with their first song hitting the radio and a national tour following soon after. The band’s DIY attitude has remained a core part of their identity, from creating their own music to producing and managing their brand. Their fanbase grew quickly, and they’ve since garnered over 300 million streams with hits like “Favorite Liar,” “Fvck Somebody,” and “Freaking Out.” The Wrecks continue to deliver a highly immersive experience, both onstage and online.
In 2024, they signed with Lava/Republic Records, releasing the upbeat and catchy track “Always, Every Time.” The song reflects a promise of support and connection, drawing from the emotional experience of feeling seen and understood. The Wrecks remain committed to authenticity and the intimate bond they share with their fans, viewing the band as both their passion and future.
