An engaging mix of history and humor, this multimedia presentation tells the tale of the planet's most celebrated and demonized plant through the inspiring stories of the diverse people and cultures who've championed it in the face of a racist and oppressive authoritarian campaign of eradication.
The History of Weed is created and performed by David Bienenstock, a former editor at High Times magazine, creator of the VICE series Bong Appetit, author of the book "How to Smoke Pot (Properly)," and host of the podcast "Great Moments in Weed History."
