Ratapalooza is a family-friendly rat show event for people of all ages. It started back in 2000 and now has multiple shows a year for all rat lovers to enjoy. Ratapalooza involves a standards show (think cat or dog show on a much smaller scale) and a fun pet show. Register your rats before January 25 for a chance to win ribbons.

With a focus on educating people about rats and providing socializing opportunities with other rat lovers. There are many breeders from across the Northwest, as well as several rescue groups who would love to fix you up with your new best friend. Additionally, there are lots of vendors of hammocks, supplies and unique arts and crafts that celebrate rats as pets, not pests.

Ratapalooza is organized and funded by volunteers from RatsPacNW Rat Fanciers Club, a social organization for rat lovers from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and British Columbia. For more information, visit the club’s Facebook page or website.
