Irene Saputra, also known as Nengiren, formerly worked as a graphic designer and enjoyed being a part-time illustrator before she embraced a full-time artist. Her art journey began 13 years ago, seeking solace in sketching as a form of meditation. In 2014, she discovered a love for fabric and thread, leading her to dive into the world of embroidery. She explores her embroidery art and joins small exhibitions, art markets, and personal or brand commissions work. Her embroidery exploration led her to the "Nona Kecil" (Little Woman) OOTD series, where she portrays daily clothing exploration through her little characters.
