Food Foray is a documentary series that takes you on a food journey through east Portland and Gresham produced by MetroEast Community Media. In each episode, host Jessica Thiessen goes on a tour of an international grocery store with an immigrant foodie guest. Together, they cook a unique meal at the guest’s home and have intimate conversations around the table with friends and family discussing geopolitics, immigration, humor, and love. The first three episodes (20 minutes each) explore cuisines from the Republic of Georgia, Oaxaca, Mexico, and Myanmar.
