Champagne Class

‘Tis the season for champagne and all things sparkling. But Cheryl Wakerhauser, curator of the World’s Best Champagne List from World of Fine Wine for nine years, will tell you why there is a time and a place for champagne all year round, at the dinner table, the picnic table and the beach. This class will explore the regions and styles of champagne, as well as the complicated aging process that brings not just bubbles, but the characteristic toasty aromatics that have become synonymous with champagne. You’ll also learn to open a bottle of champagne like a pro…with a sword.
