Ride Every Wednesday
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
Every Wednesday morning in March and April, PBOT will be popping up with fresh coffee and Kuto credits for anyone who rides transit, bikes or walks into downtown.
Welcome to Every Wednesday. A new Portland tradition designed to brighten up your midweek.
Whether you’ve been coming into the office throughout the pandemic or prepping for a new routine in person, don’t let getting stuck in traffic or the hassle of parking ruin your day. Consider alternatives to driving, such as transit (bus/MAX/streetcar) or biking.
As part of Every Wednesday, the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is rewarding people who get to work by transit, bicycling, or walking.
Thanks to Rose Lanes, buses are now faster. Save money from driving for better things instead. You’ll get some time to read a book, listen to a podcast, or just zone out. Don’t have a bike? Don’t worry; BIKETOWN’s 100% electric-assist bikes will have you zipping into the office in no time and with no sweat. Take one out for a spin on the newly completed Better Naito bike path along the waterfront.
