Lunar New Year Celebration

Washington Square wishes you and your family good fortune and happiness during the Year of the Dragon.
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, shoppers are invited to visit the Summit Court to snap a selfie, make a wish on a red ribbon, and honor the Wishing Tree tradition. Enjoy traditional crafts, stories, dances, and more for the whole family, and celebrate the Lunar New Year.
- 11:00 a.m.: Portland Puppet Museum presents “Legends of Ancient China and Jade Empress of China”
- Noon: Korean Kayageum musical performance by Doyeon Lim
- 12:30 p.m. Hope Chinese Charter School
- 1:00 p.m.: Storytelling by Alton Chung
- 1:30 p.m.: Art World School
- 2:00 p.m.: Oregon Chinese Coalition
- 2:30 p.m.: Portland Chinese School & the Yo-Yo Team
- 3:00 p.m.: Summit Wushu Academy
