Paint the Town - Burnside Block Party
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
"Paint the Town" envisions a Portland with a diverse community of creative minds, thriving in a unique art economy born from the enthusiastic support from the people of Portland.
Join in bringing that vision to life at the first event this Saturday, July 24th, in Old Town/Chinatown.
The event will be held at the outdoor space next to the Chinatown gate for the evening with live painters, art installations, and some of the city's finest underground house music DJs.
This event is about inviting people into the creative process, celebrating artists and their work, and simply bringing as much loving and creative energy as possible to the neighborhood.
