Make Portland Weird Again: Mini Arts Fest and Salon
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
Joining the Portland Reopening Weekend celebrations with Pink Martini and venues across the city, The Steep and Thorny Way to Heaven is delighted to bring our very special brand of strange back to the inner southeast industrial neighborhood with Make Portland Weird Again: A Mini Arts Fest and Salon
The Steep and Thorny Way to Heaven, Portland’s home for underground arts for the last decade, is excited to open our doors for this four-hour sampler of art, music, theatre, and circus. Featuring indoor and outdoor performances, live music, tarot readers, and figure models, this art fair and salon showcases the best of what Steep and Thorny is known for: injecting a little bit of weird back into the southeast waterfront.
This free, all-ages event celebrates our first reopening since COVID closed our doors more than a year ago. Come down and enjoy a virgin cocktail, see the improvements we’ve made to the space, and check out what we have coming up as we plan our next steps to welcome audiences and community back.
