The founders, Jean and Dave Fleming, wanted to present "freshly-made beer with locally roasted coffee." With an emphasis on flavors and an abv of 7% or less, the brewers have, over the years, presented inspired combinations that attendees have sipped on over the course of a few hours and … also have been inspired.
Coffee Beer is beer that has coffee in it via a variety of methods, depending on the brewer's recipe. While often associated with stouts, coffee beer is found as a delicious relationship in all kinds of ales, lagers, and even ciders and other brews. With the emphasis on flavors and an abv of 7% or less, the brewers have presented inspired combinations that attendees would sip on over a few hours and … also be inspired — a Portland tradition that brings people together…the more, the merrier.
