PassinArt: A Theatre Company presents Black Nativity by poet and playwright Langston Hughes. Based on the traditional Nativity story, the spirit-filled, inspiring gospel songplay features traditional Christmas carols performed in a gospel style, along with a few new songs specifically for the show. This year’s cast features many favorites from previous seasons, including Kenisha Blackman, a Seattle-based finalist of America’s Got Talent, in her Portland debut. Welcome to PassinArt and Portland, Kenisha.
