Free First Thursday
The following description was submitted by the event organizer.
Enjoy Psychedelic Rock Posters and Fashion of the 1960s and Throughlines: Connections in the Collection on Free First Thursday, offering free Portland Art Museum admission for the community all day.
Thanks to the generous support provided by the Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All Program, Museum admission is free on the first Thursday of every month, and programs at the PAM CUT Tomorrow Theater in Southeast Portland are also free.
Free First Thursdays at the Museum and PAM CUT’s Tomorrow Theater align with revitalizing the long-standing Portland art galleries’ tradition of opening doors for openings, receptions, and events on the first Thursday of each month. Art and culture organizations have joined to bring this popular activity back, including the Pacific Northwest College of Art and the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education in the North Park Blocks.
