Huber’s, established in 1879, is Portland’s oldest restaurant and bar. Dinner in the historic dining room, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is like stepping back in time. It has solid mahogany paneling, a terrazzo floor and is crowned by a stained glass skylight. Roasted turkey continues to be the house specialty since the saloon days, but today they also feature fresh seafood and Certified Angus steaks. Huber’s is also famous for their flaming Spanish coffee drinks.
