The End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center reopened in July 2013 with a new “Bound for Oregon” featured film, interactive learning programs, exciting exhibits, group programs and 24/7 outdoor signage implementing smart phone technology. Evoking three giant wagons, the center comes loaded with interactive displays, from learning how to pack a wagon for a 2,000-mile journey to churning butter. The Visitor Center at the End of the Oregon Trail also offers changing displays on the Oregon Trail and Clackamas County history, as well as a great selection of local products and gifts in the Country Store. Hours of operation vary by season.
